You probably have seen what waffles posted but i thought it would be fit for me (Admin) to say something about this awesome feature. We want Sc-S.com be a place where you can just come and ‘chill’ and ‘relax’ / ‘chillax’ So we decided to add comics, every time you refresh or anything or click the button that views random comics, page will bring up a new comic for you to view and enjoy. This comics are a lot of fun, i sat there read about 5 and i just could not stop laughing, these are just extremely fun to read so I hope you enjoy! We will be added a bunch of new features over the time being so stay tuned. You can view the comics by hovering over Other tab and than clicking random comics tab. Well it will be different now and you can also suggest polls for us to put up. -Weekly Vids, same thing with the polls i knwo i know, i failed at it last time and left the same mcdonalds fail up for a week , it’ll be different i promise :D. -Memberships, Something more of a donating monthly concept kind of thing but, basically for a certain price, per month you help sc-s.com and will get a page here on sc-s.com which will be called the banner page, where you cna post your banner and ref link, it will be like advertising but much cheaper as it wont be on the home page but it helps us to ! this is undecided were working out on the kinks atm. Members may also get the own @sc-s.com email -Much more contests! -A forum. -A New way for every user to post a code. –What will happen is you go through authentication system of ours, once approved you will be able to find codes and post them. They wont be on main page but what will happen is: You will see a chat, that says The code, the expiration date, location, and its value and such, than it will have a thumbs up and thumbs down other users will be able to use the code and if it works they will give a thumbs up if not a thumbs down. -Contact form will be fixed. -All mods will have a contact button. (This is unsure of atm.) -Facebook WILL be updated when a new post is out, just like how twitter it. If all goes well most of these features will be done BEFORE September! E-Mails are Showing Up Late

This is a problem that was fixed earlier today.  Hopefully this has blown over now.  For those of you who missed Swagcodes due to this, I highly recommend signing up for text message message notifications through Twitter if it’s at all possible.  Always feel free to ask for help in the chatbox.

Sometimes the Site is Unavailable or Slow

Because we moved from a shared hosting environment to a dedicated host, we’ve had to learn the hard way how to configure our server.  Again, this has hopefully been dealt with.  The site should be running faster than ever.

You Missed a Few Twitter Updates

This is due to a strage difference in configuration between our old host and our current host.  This has hopefully been fixed.

I’m Not Getting E-Mails at All!

Are you using hotmail or live?  If so, you probably won’t get mail from us right now.  Microsoft has very strict spam filtering rules, and new servers have to go through an application process to be recognized as non-spam by Microsoft.  This is underway, and will hopefully will be resolved within the next few days. UPDATE: It appears that we’re now able to send e-mail to live and hotmail accounts.  Make sure to check your spam folder if you’re still not getting email. We’re very sorry if our little hiccups has caused anyone inconvenience.  Again, we appreciate your patience, and hopefully it won’t be required for much longer! The new version of the auto-searcher is still in beta, but if you are interested, we definitely encourage you to send in for a beta key.  Just send email to swagcodespoiler@gmail.com with a subject “Searcher Beta”. • Increases in stability and speed.  Hopefully you’ve already noticed this!
• The Code Checker and the Code Grabber (“Active Codes” section) are back.
• Twitter notifications are back.  They were down momentarily while we moved to a new server.

A call for beta testers

The “premium” auto-searcher is getting close to being ready!  There’s still a lot to be done, but all of the basic features are in place.  We’d like to start a round of closed beta invitations.  If you have Google Chrome (or are willing to install it) and are interested in being a beta tester, please send an e-mail to swagcodespoiler@gmail.com with “Searcher Beta” in the subject line. The invites will be sent on a first come, first serve basis.  The first round will be sent out  some time on Monday, July 5th. Hi everyone, I have a couple of things to share with you. Today, our host temporarily turned off our site.  It turns out that the code checker was too resource intensive for them.  The bad news is it (and the Active Codes section) has been temporarily disabled.  The good news is we’re looking into more accommodating hosts, and will be moving shortly.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you!  We’re working hard to get everything back to normal. The new and improved version of the auto-searcher is still under development, and we are making good progress.  It is tracking wins and is capable of displaying simple statistics based on what it learns:

We’re finishing up a portal that awards you credits when you complete free offers, which are used to power the searcher.  An offer gets you between 50-100 credits, and one search takes 1 credit.  This can change if it becomes problematic to keep up with.  We will keep you updated, and will hopefully have something to let you all use shortly! We’re working to automate the retrieval of the new “Wall of Winners” Facebook codes, as the process to get them is especially obnoxious.  Hopefully we’ll have something for you soon. A while back we used to have a Bookmark me thing under every posts, and when i say a while back I’m talking about when are site was pure white, ( Before the green/black one) Anyways so i decided to bring it back. You will find a “Share And Enjoy” Button under every post, so you can share it via facebook, twitter, google, list goes one. Simply hover over your Sharing option, and click it :D. Hello everyone! I wanted to give you all another update on the new version of the auto-searcher. Firstly, we’re going to provide it as an ad-supported service.  This means you’ll be able to use it for 100% free!  You’ll just be asked to spend a minute or two taking a survey up to a few times a week. Here  is the progress I’ve made since the last update:

1. Implemented login and profile system.  This means you’ll be able to save all of your settings to your account.
2. Implemented e-mail/text message notifications for win/CAPTCHA events.  You’ll be able to select what kinds of notifications you want for different events.

   

3. Saving / Loading of settings profiles.  After you configure your searcher, you’ll be able to save its state, and load it again next time you use it.  The following series of screenshots demonstrates how this works

Hi guys, Last time I told you about auto-searcher premium, I listed some of the capabilities that we’d like it to have.  I’ve made some progress, and wanted to give a short update.  A few screenshots of it in action follow:

These are very basic features compared to what we have planned for the future. Soon, we’ll have a wider variety of notification options (get an e-mail/text when you need to enter a CAPTCHA, view all of your winnings over time, etc).  At this time, the service is supported with a Google Chrome plugin.  If there is enough demand, we might provide a FireFox plugin as well. Because this is a rather significant undertaking, we’re unable to develop this product for free.  However, we are considering the option of having it be ad-supported.  We may have an option to complete a survey or watch an ad every few days before you’re sent onto the auto-searcher (you will be left uninterrupted for a while after that), and we’d still provide the option of paying a small amount to get rid of the ads permanently. Again, the current version of the auto-searcher will remain freely available to you! Given all this, we’d again appreciate your feedback.  If you have a few seconds, answer the poll below.
